Flocking to a new way of working

“Just because we live in the countryside, why shouldn’t we have the workspaces our businesses deserve?” asks Zoe Spence, who has created an innovative workplace in Rural Cumbria. Kate Chapman finds out more…

Herdwork, in Kirkby Lonsdale, is set in 5,000 acres of open countryside on the 14th century Underly Estate, alongside the River Lune. Their stunning space offers an open plan lounge, library, kitchen, co-working areas, offices, meeting rooms and a courtyard, plus a variety of membership packages with no restrictive contracts.
